Not officially but, the way it works is that I had his insurance guy come and have a look at the bike and take pictures of the bike and make an estimate of the damages. That way once fault is determined, they can just write me a check for the amount of the damages.pleased for you Jake - so it was decided your mate was at fault then?
thats cool woolf....at least the insurance guy didn't try to fuck ya out of shit....like some do....Not officially but, the way it works is that I had his insurance guy come and have a look at the bike and take pictures of the bike and make an estimate of the damages. I don't think there is ANY way at all that it could be found to be my fault in this.
I just didn't want to do anything to the bike before they came to look at it and, I wasn't going to ride it with only one bag on it with the blinker bar hanging off it. haha
It was pretty funny really because the adjuster came to my house on an ultra classic that he's sunk a fortune into. He sympathized with my situation to say the least and, anything that was even touched he gave me a new one on the estimate. ( the bag never completely detached and never hit the road )
There was a slightly larger hole where the blinker bar attached to the fender and, he gave me a new fender. The bag could be repaired but, he gave me a new one. etc.
Bought it back!! WHOA!!!I BLEW MY MAINSHAFT TOO! THEY TOLD ME I WAS ONE OF THE FIRST ONES.
I NO LONGER WORRY ABOUT THE RELIABILITY PROBLEMS. THE MANUFACTURER (BDM), BOUGHT MY BIKE BACK.
MY TWO MAINSHAFT BREAKS WERE QUICK AN EASY JUST LIKE ONE SECOND YOUR PULLING THE NEXT THING I KNEW I WAS FREEWHEELING NO SIGN ANYTHING WAS WRONGMaybe this question has been asked, but were there any warning signs before these tranny's went out??
