Don’t sit on the bike!I'll measure the heigth tomorrow when I have an extra person there to sit on them while I measure that
In that case Mastiff has to lean way more. Compare the pics. Bulldog side stand is bolted like 1.5” lower. Compare against the tire too. Mastiff stand is halfway the sidewall, Buldog stand is with the thread of the tire...Both have the same kickstand
The front fender is actually for a wolf. The shop that did the work had one laying around. And I'm not wanting to have the grand pose or nothing like that. I know Derrick had sent me a picture of his Mastiff before and after a 23 inch wheel conversion and it just looked amazing so I have always wanted that same look since then. He did everything right tho and it didn't change the ride height or nothing. he even said it handled better and rode smoother with the extra rubber. So I found myself in a position to have it done and did, but I think the shop cut corners well I actually know they did. And I think getting the correct fork tubes is one of the corners they cut. PM me and I'll give you my number and I can text you all the details and pictures on that.No offense, but if you shorten the tubes don’t you think the front starts to look bit off? Ain’t the whole idea of bigger wheel is to give a bike “grander pose”?
I’m confused why you don’t call the shop and ask what they did?Why won’t you call Derik and ask what he did?
I have no Mastiff and don’t really care for larger tire. I like the grand pose of Chopper and K9The front fender is actually for a wolf. The shop that did the work had one laying around. Looking my manual you are somewhat upside downFWIW, I just had to go out and measure my 2008 Ridgeback distance to the bottom of the frame standing straight up and nobody sitting on it and it was about 4.5 inches. This matches the owners manual frame height of 4.5 inches.
It also listed the frame height for a mastiff of 4 inches.

2007 give 4” too... I thought they have same frame 06 and 07. Maybe the jig was “bit tired” by 2007I was looking at the 2008 specs which are right side up!![]()

Derick is calling ke tomorrow. He said I just need stock Harley fork tubes. But forgot to tell me which model or year to get them for. But I found a video on YouTube of a lowering kit or progressive shock system. I'm wondering if I put a stock Harley length system in my forks would that be my cheapest and easiest way out of this mess. Why won’t you call Derik and ask what he did?
Same frame different swing arm. 2006 had the 250 rear tire and in 2007 they went to the 300 rear tire.2007 give 4” too... I thought they have same frame 06 and 07. Maybe the jig was “bit tired” by 2007![]()
Yeah, I put Revzilla video of progressive lovering kit to this threadDerick is calling ke tomorrow. He said I just need stock Harley fork tubes. .That's actually the one I watched. But if I were to just put stock Harley spring in mine that should lower mine to the 24.5 inches shouldnt it?Yeah, I put Revzilla video of progressive lovering kit to this thread.
Well, he pretty much told the same as we did.nexk rose less than 1”. bike nose touch up looks good, bike nose down looks shit. His opinion was 2” shorter tubes look shit. And if the nose dives he is right in my opinion too. He said he did change the tubes to shortest standard length. Like he said rear suspension may be adjustable (by lengthening the rod, ie. the opposite you might think). You have to look whether there are thread and nut on the rods...
Why would you do that when progressive is way better. That's actually the one I watched. But if I were to just put stock Harley spring in mine that should lower mine to the 24.5 inches shouldnt it?
