Also remember if you drop the front by shortening the springs , you also lessen the suspension length. You do not want your front suspension to bottom. Thus that route calls for the best progressive springs you can get.

Well, he pretty much told the same as we did.nexk rose less than 1”. bike nose touch up looks good, bike nose down looks shit. His opinion was 2” shorter tubes look shit. And if the nose dives he is right in my opinion too. He said he did change the tubes to shortest standard length. Like he said rear suspension may be adjustable (by lengthening the rod, ie. the opposite you might think). You have to look whether there are thread and nut on the rods...
Did he return your original tubes and wheel? That he should have done. Then you could go back to original and know that he at least has changed the tubes.

I'd go with progressive just the stock harley length that derrick was talking about.

The kickstand’s are the same on all big dogs the difference is the kickstand mount they are different between soft tails and hardtails that’s the only difference. And the spacer for both frame styles is necessary do not remove it.

Actually there are different lenghts, you can get one from D&D, if you want.

Just so we are clear on this......if you change from a 21 inch wheel to a 23 inch wheel the radius only changes by 1 inch while the diameter changes by 2 inches. So, the axle height rises by 1 inch assuming nothing else is changed such as the Tire sidewall measurement.

I’m posting this because of the post that said “.....2 inch shorter forks” which would drop the front end vice maintain it’s height.

I’m talking about stock kickstand’s the only difference is the mount on the end of the kickstand I never said there wasn’t another longer or adjustable stand available.

Just popped to my mind, Easiest way to shorten front forks is cut part number 27. Heck you can test it by replacing that with a piece of PVC pipe...

Pvc pipe is OK, you can actually live it there...
