PERFECT!!! Like several others, I've ridden/raced bikes since I was a kid, and I've actually raced several V-rods with my 06 K9. Won some, lost some. Beers all around afterwards! Although I will admit, my experience has been that most who own them don't seem to know how to ride them, which is usually how I win. Admittedly, they are quick (but in my opinion fkn UGLY! jus my .02 cents), but I've never been able to beat a busa, and neither can they.V rod has no class and Harley did not even design the motor and his bike is more of an assembly line bike than the dogs are. he is feeling inferior, is jealous and is saying shit trying to make himself feel better about his poor decision.:flag:
AND, Big Dogs are all American from the design, to the components and right down to the build.:flag:

The point is, there is simply soooooo much more to these bikes than others. They're pretty much in a class all unto themselves. I don't drive a funny car to work, nor do I take a jet fighter to the Grand Canyon when I'm on vacation. But I do run my K9 on both. There's not another bike on the market that I would rather have than mine. Period! And, like Knotso said, our Dogs are ALL AMERICAN, from start to finish, which is important to me.

Some of responses are killin' me. Any other time an H-D is a cookie cutter, POS, looks like every other bike, not as BAD as my DOG, ect....
Most brag on here how fast their Dogs are...its about time someone puts up...talk is cheap.
Its only a race, not life or death. Someone will win & someone will lose....the sun will still come up tomorrow.
I will tell you this, I've ran a Screamin' Eagle Duece w/110 & a V-Rod. And they were on my ass HARD the entire run.
*BTW* I have an S&S 124 with V&H pipes a Forcewinder intake, & a dynotune.

My talk is not cheap! I will run any of those bikes any day! With the work that I have done to my bike I wouldn't back down from any race and plus it's in my blood to run! My brother has an 110 screaming Eagle with cams and exhaust and thundermax and I walk him with no problem. Then he went and put nitrous on it and he hangs with me but I still eat him up out of the hole and maintain my distance. I treat my bike like a bar hopping bike so it's set up for the 1/4 mile just my preference. But it's all fun and full of adrenaline when you do it!

I use to Drag Race (GPZ1100, ZX-10 & a ZX-11), been down the 1/4 mile HUNDRED's of times. The V-Rod is a Badass bike, not my style, but still a bad ride.
Stock for Stock...he's gonna lose to that H-D...just the Fact. Add pipes...same result, add a tune...same result. No harm in giving it a shot, if he loses, so what, it's ALL in fun. :up:

I agree completely most of the time its the rider and not the bike, it sounds like your an experianced bike racer, if he's not you will smoke him. Then be sure to mention it everday for next year atleast

Finally raced me today. Only raced me maybe an 1/8 mile or so. We started at a 10mph roll. I pulled about 4-5 bike lengths on him when he was on the brakes turning down a side street. I'm sure he will have some excuse tomorrow.

He may kill himself now because there is another guy that works with me he has like a 92 sportster 1200 that he has alot of motor work done. Not sure exactly what he has done but I know that I can only pull a couple lengthes on him and he stays right with me. Well the sporty and the v-rod raced this morning and the v-rod lost!!!!!! funny shit Im trying to get them to race again so I can get a video but the v-rod owner is not happy and I dont think he will.
