Thats what I said but he told me the guy had some 124inch stroker motor built for it and he still beat him on the v-rod. He is a real douche bag but just wanted to know if there is any truth about the v-rod being as fast as he says it is. I dont really care if it is I still dont want one but I really want to run him now just to whoop his ass so I can rub it in his face. Im actually getting my dog dyno tuned this weekend. Puttin in the 585 cam tomorow. Sounds like I should be ok for at least the 1/8 mile.

My brother will race him with his Ski-Doo and slaughter him in the 1/4. Is he then going to sell his fake Harley and buy a snowmobile??? Comparisons and trash talk are worthless. Just knock him out and be done with it.:)

I ride with two V rods. They don't come near to my speed. Both of my buds that ride them will tell you the same thing. Not sure about top speed but stop light to stop light it's not even close and I weigh a out 100 pounds more than them.

Okay I know I'm gonna take it for this, but the VRod in the right hands will kill you. People are getting close to 200 HP with their VRod's (heavily modified). I much prefer riding my K9 but ride my VRod alot as well. When I'm on the K9 and my wife's on my VRod I smoke her, but she don't run it hard like I do. I took a bunch of shit on the VRod site about my K9 and didn't understand why people are such brand biggots, come on lets not get that way here. Like I said my VRod can't replace my K9 but my VRod is killer fast, and yes faster than my K9. My best friend has a FZ1 and we are neck and neck till 120 then he starts pulling away. VRods unlike other Harley's start pulling hard between 4 & 5 grand and redline about 2500 rpm's higher then other Harleys. Don't beat my VROd up dude's just a different bike for a different reason. Important thing is we ride, so race him and see what happens.

I owned an 03' VRod for 5 years until I bought my dog. I agree, the VRod's are fast, but my K9 is faster on take-off & top end than my VRod ever was. If his trash talking bothers you that much...race him & shut him up. :flag:

V rod has no class and Harley did not even design the motor and his bike is more of an assembly line bike than the dogs are. he is feeling inferior, is jealous and is saying shit trying to make himself feel better about his poor decision.:flag:

AND, Big Dogs are all American from the design, to the components and right down to the build.:flag:

No way can he say that.:rant:

V-rods are ugly (IMO), but they are fast...different ride altogether.
Down deep inside, I'm betting most V-rod riders wish they were on YOUR Big Dog instead! :up:

I get harassing from the Harley guys on occasions and all I do is ignore them.
Who really gives a rat's azz. I love riding the dog and wouldn't trade it for anything. Ask him why is it so important that his bike is faster....
The big question is his V-Rod stock run of the mill?
You'll like the .585 cam from what I hear.
