Apples to Oranges. Who really gives a rats a@# which bike is faster? I once owned a Hayabusa and still own a GSXR 1000. I also own a 2007 Big Dog Chopper. I didn't buy the chopper to race my Jap bike! Big Dogs are on a new level. As others have said, "he is just jealous". Tell him to buy a Big Dog and go ride. If he's worring about speed, buy a Jap Rocket! I know people like him, always trying to find something to say to piss you off. If you didn't own the Big Dog he would find something else to compare.

This thread looks like it's already been beat to death and I'm not interested enough to read through them all, but just an FYI, my 2004 Chopper with super short pipes and an open intake (in other words poorly tuned) could just hang with my buddy on his night rod, but when we got up into like 3rd gear he would lose me.
