Not messing around. Replace before I get stranded.

I would unhook all the grounds off the battery post so no wire is on that negative battery post. I would then take the EHC's ground and ground it to the frame. I would take a remote wire and tap that to ground off the positive lead battery post. With all the grounds of the battery, nothing grounded is in the loop to cause a short on the posi side of the battery. I would think you want a ground to the frame, not backwash into the EHC.You could disconnect the red and black leads from the battery, wait a few minutes then touch them together to drain the EHC Hook them back up and see what happens.
Thx Rottweiler, interesting, they all flash at the same time once every second after the reboot. If your voltage is fine? You could disconnect the red and black leads from the battery, wait a few minutes then touch them together to drain the EHC Hook them back up and see what happens.
You mean the previous owner got his money out of it. Thanks for the lead. I'm sure I'll be calling.Wow, an original 04 EHC. You got your money worth out of that. Considering they were recalled back in 05. I've seen a couple come through my shop. Go ahead and get ahold of the Kaptin. He has the perfect replacement for it.

Before you call to get a new EHC spend some time to at least visually look for an issue with your wiring. The lights are indicating a short , an open or an over-current condition. Yes very unusual for all to be lit but maybe there is a common link to explain it. Definitely worth checking circuits out . First pull the battery and have it load tested. When you are certain the battery is good start isolating the the different circuits connected to the EHC. Where the Ehc connects to the battery (Pos and Neg) and also where the battery Neg side connects to the frame is the best place to start. You mean the previous owner got his money out of it. That's interesting you mentioned the headlight. That's the last thing I worked on. I will pull it asap and check the wires again. Also check the headlight. Does it have the h2 bulb or a L E D ? Does the head light come on?

Look at those wires really really good in the headlight bucket....could be the smallest wear spot you could imagine....trust me....Eric and i where in sturgis last year and we looked multiple times at it and never saw it....then finally after the 6th or 7th time Eric spotted it on his bike...That's interesting you mentioned the headlight. Nothing out if the ordinary in the headlight. Strange, i've had the battery on the charger overnight and it's still not charged. I can't believe a battery would cause this. I cant find sheet on what a flashing ehc means. All leds flash including the green one on and off once a second.Look at those wires really really good in the headlight bucket....could be the smallest wear spot you could imagine....trust me....Eric and i where in sturgis last year and we looked multiple times at it and never saw it....then finally after the 6th or 7th time Eric spotted it on his bike...
Are you saying , batteries are my pet peeve? If you don't have the right battery, that could be your problem. Just ask Mr. Wright.
