WSW Also has a replacement for the Thunderheart and they will install the correct connectors so it is plug and play.

I will have a new ignition module Tuesday from Sir Curtis at wildsteedworx.
This issue took out the EHC, the cam sensor and the ignition module. What's next inline? , the coil?

First, let Sir Curtis be the first to eliminate one of the jobbers in the loop. Scoop up the other jobbers for what?
EHC ~ This animal does not light up every LED as normal-in use, or as a good known string of lights when running. Clue.
Cam Sensor ~ This is a simple wire in, wire out, no motherboard to toast. Spike goes to ground. That one wire breaks or cracks is the failure. It ran up to the day the LED lit up the streets. Clue.
Ign-Mod ~ This too was controlling ign curve or you'd be pinging, poor start, etc., but this too was clued in with the cam sensor.
Coil ~ Did you beat me to it?

Close the wallet... relax.

The motorcycle runs great now. The only part I replaced that showed any damage was the cam sensor.
New EHC, ignition module and cam sensor.
I inspected as many wires as I could and did not see anything frayed or rubbed. I still don't know how this happened but I'm not sure if I should be able to trust this bike.

Well if you replaced all that I don’t see why you couldn’t trust it. Some Cam sensors go out all the time. Some last for years. You just never know. Lots of people carry an extra one with them. A lot of times the bike will run great then shut off. Then when it cools it will crank up and then shut off when it gets hot again. That’s a tale tale sign.

.... and the speedometer doesn't work, everything else lights up and work tack, signal breaks headlight runs, more forum searching...ugh
Did you try removing the sensor out of the top of the transmission and clean the end of it off and reinstalling it?

I do like the changes that I see with all these new electronics, the neutral light doesn't stay on all the time, the RPM's are very bright, and for the first time ever it shifted into neutral while it was running , I thought it was a fluke so I did it again.

I am considering replacing the ignition module at the same time I am replacing the charging system from WSW , wondering also if you can use the 40 am version charging system in my 2008 K9 that is is having ghost in the machine issues dies not seen to be ehc and wsw s as ys that replacing the charging system is first. Thanks for and feedback. Forgive my poor knowledge. I just ride it I don't we ork with the wrenches. I have not been on here for a while so I may not be doing this right on the forum either. Hi Satterfield,
Hard to follow exactly what your asking. Your best bet is to start a new thread with your issue. Best to troubleshoot your issues before installing a new charge system and/or Ehc. Explain how your bike dies and under what circumstances (hot, cold ,anytime) Does it restart immediately or possibly after it cools down. Start the new thread it will keep things less confusing for anyone else trying to help.

As Mike in Jersey says -- start a new thread.
Provide as much detail about failures as possible.
Get it fixed and stop abusing that Dog (10K in 13yrs is abuse in my mind! But then again I did 10K the first yr I owned one - also a 2008 K-9 -- Service manager did a double take when I took it in fr the 10K service!)
