Just to give a update,
The R&B Racing 2-1 Pipe came in today. Less than a month from the order time. Everything looks awesome. Tearing the bike down tonight to replace the pipes and go to Nashville in the next day or two and pick up the new tank BDM sent. Thanks again BDM for the tank....
Going to open the primary while I am at it and check the clutch basket nut . I adjusted the slack a couple of weeks ago and it is loose again. Need to check it out anyway....

I was never a really big fan of collector pipes. However im gonna have to admit that pipe doesn't look too bad. It looks fast!!!!!!

I will post somw better quality pics at another time. I have not installed the heat shields yet. Just out riding.....
The power band is even everywhere now. You turn the throttle, your arms are streched out in any gear at any RPM.
Good quality stuff here...

BD, are you experiencing any burning of your pant legs down by the cam cover/foot peg?
Both of my Stainless Creations don't provide much clearance on the footpeg and I burn up all my pant legs.

Wondering how tight they wrap the pipe around the cam cover on your pipe.

Thanks,
Ray
Went from the BR's to the Martin Bros Ghetto Blasters without heat shields to get away from the common look of the BR's. Learned the hard way, of course, about starting my pant leg on fire while sitting at the light.

Would any of you guys that have the RB Racing pipes installed be able to make a recording of them and post it here somehow? I'm in need of new pipes, and want both performance and good loks, and it appears that these fit the bill. However, at around $700 I'd hate to get something that I don't like the sound of. Problem is though, one can't get an idea of the loudness from the recording unless there's some sort of reference recording. Sure would like to hear them though.

I've been emailing RB Racing about these pipes, and for the loudness they said:
"LSR 2-1 Slash./Turn Out. They are loud as with any straight through design. Same basic internal baffle structure for 20 years"

Neil...where did you get the wrench caddy? Got to get me one of those..
Walmart, the coffee isle....
Maxwell House cans to be exact....
Hold wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches and sockets divided by sizes 1/4, 3/8ths and 1/2 inch. One is standard and the other metric..:whoop:

Al,
Sounds awesome from the side.....
Now go lay down behind the beast, suck up some fumes and let us hear what it REALLY sounds like.....:2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I will try to make one also. Mine is kicking ass. It sounds awesome and the power gains across the board make me wonder why I waited so long to do this. The wide band completely settled down and the bike flat out hauls ass...

Thanks alhall88 for the YouTube link!

Those pipes are the Pro Stock which have no baffles. Is there anyone out there with the LSR 2-1's that have the baffles? Be interesting to see just how much quieter those are.

I am new to this thread, but not new to RB Racings LSR. I have the LSR, C style, slash cut on for the last 2 years on my 95 inch upgrade to my 99 Dyna Wide Glide. I started on in 99 with Pythons 2 into 2, then Samson Shorties with Big City Thunder baffles, then LSR's. The LSR's (baffled) as opposed to the RB Pro Stock (unbaffled) are sweet. Quality of finish is excellent, looks and sound excellent also. Sound is very subjective, but I feel my LSR is deep, throaty, mellow, and very pleasant to hear shifting throughout all of the gears.
