ya I agree but I'm not talking about the popping.

on his(117bigdog) exhaust the rear pipe doesn't come back forward like it does on Alhall's

Same pipe but the configuration is different between a left side drive and right side drive. Mines a LSD and 117's is a RSD.

Time to bring this thread alive again..... To all who own this pipe ...Hows the long term happiness factor and would you do it again ???? I'm thinking about this pipe and a cam as mods this winter for the chopper ..:job:

I also run the LSR 2-1 pipe and I am totally satisfied with it. I have no desire to change it out..:2thumbs:
Mine is on a 2007 Bulldog.

One of the best pipes, one of the worst companies to deal with. Consider yourself warned.

My curiosity is peaked ?? Why would say this can you give details ? I remember reading somewhere that they take a long time to get the pipe to you ...is this why? or did you have some quality problems?

Bring It!
I have pipe on my 05 chopper. love the pipe and not looking into changing it. The only problem I had was the waiting time. It took over a month. But it was well worth it.

Read this thread.

The pipes look decent. I did not throw the bike on a dyno yet but the shop I talked to said one of their bikes only had 2hp increase from a set of super trapps. The heat shields do not match the pipes perfectly but a flaw that is easily overlooked. I requested the pipes be made 6" shorter, which was not done. Would I do it again, depends on my dyno numbers I guess. Place the order and be prepared to wait patiently for a long time. Get the heat shields unless you want ugly welds showing.

Thanks man ...it really seems they are difficult to deal with ..and sort of indifferent to customer needs ... I wanted this pipe cause it was highly rated ...but I'm not looking to race this bike every day at the track ...so I'm rethinking the whole thing .. Thanks

The pipe is a excellent pipe for what they should do...Not made just for the track. They extract the burnt gas from the cylinders very good allowing fresh oxygen to mix with your fuel thus creating more power and greater efficiency of your system. The pipe is a excellent choice for any bike. Some have the cut off competition pipe and some of us run the longer slash cut pipe. Both great pipes...

Here is a older pic of my bike with the slash cut.

I think this will be my next pipe I put on my bike. After 7 sets now I'm still on the search for a good pipe that will work, sound good and not break on me. I'll go in nowing that they are slow to build so won't be worried as they still have a good reputation on the pipe itself.
