I have a very small inner primary leak on a 2006 BDM Pitbull. Has a Baker 6 Spd. Any idea on costs to put a new bearing in? I am looking for a ball-park before I call mechanic (probably Stroker in DFW). Thanks a lot.
Bearing seal maybe, but hopefully not the bearing. Also could be a seep from the starter motor. Once I had a transmission output seal seeping and the oil ran downhill across the frame with the bike leaning on the kickstand and spotted the floor under the primary. Clean t up real good and try to pin it down.

How much fluid are you putting in the primary? The manual says 1 quart, but that can cause leaks and starter problems. Most run 20 oz. I had an open primary put on my bike because I got tired of fixing a primary leak every other year. Later on, I found out that it was probably too much oil causing the leaks.
