You got me to thinkin,:oldconfused: (ya know I'm thinkin when I start ta sweat) Back up to your post, # 52, which plug was ya shoving the screwdriver into ? :oldconfused: That seems to be the place where things started working.:oldswear::yesnod: Go back to that and double check to make sure the pins are still good and clean and tight after ya moved things around putting it back together:skep: Good luck with things!!!:old2::old2:

Yeah ur right either there's a short or the module is being sporadic. I will mess with it again today. Another thing I noticed is that it's all very tight in there not much extra wire length , allot of the groups of wiring is being pulled pretty hard, I could see now why allot of those plugs were not completely seated.

Yeah that's where I'm concentrating on I've loosened not removed the tank just to check if I've pinched some thing.
All that looks good. It's in the plugs going into module.

Ok so got it ruining again and once it got a little warm she shut off again.

Tried to start it again straight away
No Spark

So what makes it shut off once it get warm???

I've rechecked all plugs into the module
Am uneducated guess says the plugs into the module is not the issue.

I had that happen on my custom build one time and it was the coil. They have a liquid inside that if they are cracked inside the liquid expands and shorts out the coil. Could be that... Good luck.

I have two coils the original and the new one . And symptoms are the same with both once the bike is cool or has sat for long periods it will start and run like it wants to go for a ride. After a few short minutes it dies. Then does not want to start again.
I pulled that micro relay and shook it there was doing broken inside.
I went and got a new one and put it in the bike hoping for a break. Nope same thing no spark no ignition LED.
No start

I've messaged emailed thunder heart I hope they get back to me.

What is a micro relay?

This one is the new one the old one I took out of the ignition module had bits loose inside. I opened it up and it was a diode that exploded.
This one I got at Orieleys auto parts they cross reference it from the original part number. After plugging it in the chopper and kicking it in the guts,
It did not help still no ignition.

I have ordered a new thunder heart module and it looks like it comes with all the wires as well.
Should I attempt to plug and play?
or change out all the old wiring?

I know what I'd prefer lol

That relay shouldn't have anything to do with the ignition. I'm not sure what that is for? If your bike had the stock EHC from 03 I do not believe you would have any of those relays unless someone has done some Micky Mousing.

I think we are all getting a little mixed up here.

Can you take a few pictures of this whole wiring thing we got going on here under the seat? And tanks
