Let's go wire by wire, top post1 goes from solenoid to battery positive.
Post 2 goes from the side of the solenoid to the starter motor.
The Spade terminal should be attached to a green wire coming from the starter button.

Lmk if you can see that video. The link you shared earlier the guy said the top post goes to battery +, and the side post just has the solenoid wire so I’m confused… the green space wire is where it’s supposed to be

Nm I’m sorry I get what you’re saying now, that’s how I have it. I was thinking the solenoid was on the bottom… I’m an idiot

The wire in photo 1790 should be your ground wire. It connects the frame and engine to the negative post. Current return back to the battery.....in short, provides chassis ground.

If I remember correct, the wire to the alternator was connected to the armature stud #2?
Do you know why?

The VR provides current to the battery from the stator.

Usually, the VR is grounded to frame and a single wire goes back to battery positive.

It regulates and rectified current produced by stator. Why would it go to starter?

I'm confused.....

Idk I may be wrong, bc this last wire the one in pic 92 isn’t even big enough to fit on the studs on the starter so it must go to battery but does it go to positive or negative?
