Also went to a tiny Dakota speedo and the neutral light is the letter "N" about 1/32 of an inch tall which is totally useless - can't see it even if I looked for it -Fuel always off - Just a habit
Any pics Lambo?

Neutral on in the garage. Fuel is turned off every time I stop for more than 1 hour.

I park my hog in nuetral, with the exception of rolling away..
Always in nuetral while tied down in a trailer or truck.

Will it count? Think of it as a dog with a curly tail...:whoop:

Since there are 2 other topics in this thread. I shut the petcock and use my foot.
Never use your foot to pet your cock... sorry couldn't resist.

I park in neutral unless on a hill but only because the dealer told me to. I never asked why.

As for the kick stand... I never thought of putting the kick stand down with my hand. I will give it a try tomorrow though. I am 6'5" so maybe it will be easier as some have suggested.

alway parked in 1st. before i start it i mount the bike, rock it back and forth until it goes in neutral then ignition, pull in the clutch, then hit the starter.

Through training and experience I always keep the bike in 1st when parked.
1. It will not roll
2. A drunk stumbling from the bar walks into it, it will not roll and fall.
3. If parked on an incline or slippery area, when you straddle it, it will not roll away from you.

As long as you are in the habit of squeezing in the clutch before you start any motorcycle, (which is a good safe habit to have) then you will never have a problem.

chitown......do you also turn the fuel on after the bike stalls out while you're pulling away in front of a crowd like some of us have?

I've never heard of anyone using their hand to put down the stand till now. Is it closer on other models? I'd have to be a gorilla to reach it with my hand on my Pitbull. :loony: I'm 5'10"

I park her in 1st. I was taught young to sqeeze that clutch before starting.
