On your headlight paint did you have the inside of the bucket painted around the trim ring or did you leave it chrome? Got any pics?
Thanks

The paint wraps around and stops at the threads.

My trim ring was never chrome, it was painted silver on the limited's which is what i started with.
I have the back "daymaker" clone so I painted the trim ring black. Ill take and post a pic for you later.

I think that's the only way to do a black wheel is for that contrast cut. Otherwise chrome look. But since your doing the fork lowers in black you are already commiting to black wheels. My opinion then is to look at a contrast cut.

Also, since you asked just gonna say I really think painted headlights look cheap.

Well I think your right on the wheels and looks like I think contrast is the way to go. I called yesterday and got a quote from Colorado customs. It’s going to be a few months as I am saving up to get them.

I like the painted bucket and will post pics once it’s back and installed

I love that contrast cut on the black wheel and even though I have solid black wheels on my truck I just don’t like them on a motorcycle. I know I already said this but that bucket is bad ass!!!

I need to do this to the bung I just got painted but I’m not really sure how to do it. I am afraid if I don’t do it the gas cap is going to scratch the bung.
It pretty easy to install, use a plastic squeegee to lay it on the paint,
I installed it on the big bear rear fender
