04 pitbull to ridgeback build

Been looking at allot of wheel options and think I have finally decided on the design for the build. Hoping Santa delivers the wheels. They are damn expensive
A little different from the normal polished look I am used too but that’s what I am going for. Feel free to share your likes and dislikes, to each his own right! Your opinions are welcomed.

I have never been a fan of black wheels on a bike, car, wheelbarrow, etc....anyway I think with the badass paint you did that chrome wheels would be bad ass Paul, personally the best wheel I have ever seen on a Dog are the 07 Bulldog wheels, you could change out the front fender like PK did on his K9 for awhile since those wheels have a wider front rim, just my opinion Paul, if you like black then that’s obviously where it’s at and I am sure it will be sweet look’n either way.

I have to agree with John. Chrome is the only way I would go. But I'm old also, now a days everything is blacked out. With that paint and chrome....

Mine we’re originally black without contrast cut. I painted the rim portion when I painted the bike to match.

I think that's the only way to do a black wheel is for that contrast cut. Otherwise chrome look. But since your doing the fork lowers in black you are already commiting to black wheels. My opinion then is to look at a contrast cut.

Also, since you asked just gonna say I really think painted headlights look cheap.

I have looked at the contrast cut and it would go with the black and diamond cut motor, but I am pretty dead set on the solid black. I will not be doing the fork lowers black but will be doing other items black, as it’s coming together I am taking ideas from other photos out there but really adding my own twist to it.

Appreciate the opinions on the headlight, but I think it’s personally going to tie it all together with the frame and handlebars. It’s going to offset the chrome, black and dark candy red throughout the bike.
