I have ordered and gotten stuff from him every time. It was said in a post somewhere that you are not going to get stuff as fast from him as you might like, but to expect a little longer.

I believe this is true. And I believe you just need to be patient If you need parts in a hurry go to your dealer spend 20% more and pay tax.

everyone knows about this subject including our forefathers yet it continues week after week, month after month, year after year...yet when the new guys come on and see the adds and that it is a sponsor of this site well then they go through the same things everyone else has went through as long as i have been here....I think they feel sorry for him or maybe they have contractoral obligation to his add...either way it makes the site look bad for continually supporting someones buisness that is undependable, unresponsive and unkool if you ask me.......and after this some other excuse...excuse #257 will come along and there will be this support and whatnot...and hes a good guy and hes got some personal shit going on and this and that but nothing at al will change..........

Yup sorry to say I agree ,

Nelson is busy setting up his salon bar and grill as well as the bike parts. His internet site is still under construction. I am also waiting for a price on parts. He e-mailed me back about 3 weeks ago saying he lost my information. Haven't heard back from him since. I need my parts, so i ordered from Bikersdream. Talk to Lannie or Don. Very nice to deal with.

We will ensure Tim (Bubblehead) sees this when he gets home next week. Seeing as how he rarely gets on here when out to sea he usually just reads his PM's as we generate 100's of threads each day now.

Also, the 4 MODS here don't have any control over the Site Sponsors so that's why you don't see any off us commenting here till now.

As for Nelson he has been hot and cold here for a while and I certainly hope he gets his new gig together and gets back to work here.

So, a barmaid takes your order for your beer, collects the money, and disappears. She says she will have you that beer right away. You wait, nothing happens, so you start inquiring. No one responds. You get frustrated, and finally the barmaid delivers the beer two hours later, with a bunch of excuses as to why it took two hours. You say "ok" and the barmaid leaves. Then you take a sip, and the beer is rancid. You find the barmaid, and she says "sorry the beer is bad, call Anheuser-Busch and they will make it right."
You think that is bullshit and say so, but the barmaid disappears again, leaving you to deal with the problem.
So you post on the forum monitored by your brothers about your experience with the barmaid, warning them about the barmaid's business practices. Several people post in response, and claim to have had similar experiences.A few people post in response, essentially being apologists for the barmaid, and listing reasons for the barmaid's lousy customer service.:job:
After that experience, you buy your beer elsewhere.

We need to find a dealer that will offer a discount to forum members!

Nelson was a great option until he became MIA.

Let's find a dealer that will give us 15-20% off. It's a win-win considering we all buy alot of stuff.

A dealer willing to offer us a discount for in all likelyhood 75% of all members $ purchases $ will DEFINATELY benefit. I know a few places that may be interested. I will work on it.

Nelson always treated me right.....fast shipping and super nice guy with good prices. But I have not ordered from him in a while (over a year). Really hate to hear it. He has not been on the forum since Feb.15. Its going to be hard for him to win back customers. There's to many other people willing to take your money and ship your items

I actually tried to get us set-up for parts only and BDM said no even though we have all of our docs in order. Vin Lic, Fed EIN, State Cert, etc.

I DO understand that they prefer to have full dealerships or at the very least service centers which is why they won't consider us.

My thought to them was that there is a VERY STRONG customer base on the web site that some of them are searching outside of their local dealers for different reasons whether it be price, relationship, convienence, etc. to make these purchases and it should be embraced.

I repeat, I agree that it is very important for BDM to protect their dealers. I guess I was thinking there is room for everyone as long as the customer is taken care of.

Either way, I tried.

IF LIFE SUCKS, GO RIDE
Question on Nelson? i know he is working on getting his Bar/Bike saloon open but will he have it ready in time for the ROT rally. Was googling earth maps on it which looked like a nice ride and thinking about making it there if opened. Has anyone been by to see if he's opened or close too it.

I have some great news. I was post #13 in reference to an order I placed with Nelson on April 20th. Since I did not receive my parts and he did not answer my emails I filed a dispute claim with PayPal on Thursday. Today my case was closed and Nelson refunded me the total amount of my prepaid order. Since I have purchased from him in the past I am very happy to know that he is alive and hopefully well. If I ever get to Texas I will look him up and say thank you!
