I to don't want people to think that Bigdog riders are jerks and respond a respectful $40k. They Smile and then want to know more.

Most of the time I tell them what I paid..I feel I got a good deal. 2008 Mutt bought in Sep 2009 for 18900. It had never been titled, and had 20 miles on the speedo. Most of the time the Harley bagger guys shat themselves because their carbon copy black Streetglide cost 4-5k more with options. Or I listen to how their limited edition CVO cost almost 40k...and it was limited to only 2000 in that paint with a 110 SE motor...then I tell them that there were only 3 made in my paint and I got a 117. Who's limited edition with a bad azz motor now???:flag:

If you want them to think you paid a lot but don't really want to say that, just say, they run anywhere from $30,000 on up but this one was a present from my wife. I don't know what she paid. I have said that to people that I felt it was really none of their business and figured I make them envious at the same time. After all, how many wifes can really do that anyway.

Better yet are the people that ask " WoW how much do the payments run " and here again I just smile and say "I don't know, I don't have any"

Most of the time I just say it costed as much as their Harley with the extras they put on it. People are usually surprised when I tell them I paid around $28,000 for an 09 Mastiff on the factory floor with EFI, chrome package, and had the dealer add in a stash tube, oil cooler, exhaust, and intake. I think I got a good deal. Got a lot of extras and an awesome bike for 28k.

Just email Brian. He's a member here and will let you know what he has. Bigdogsource or something like that. He has a great page on FB too.

Went to a dealer and they searched available dogs at the factory.

If someone asks what my stuff costs and they are asking because they have a clue and are actualy interested in it I am honest.
if they are asking just for the sake of asking I reply with,
"I don't know, I see stuff and I buy it..."
Since reading this post a long time ago, ""I don't know, I see stuff and I buy it..."" has been my go to answer...
