Does the karata have the correct offset?brew i had motor and tranny out so i used the pivot bolt to square the two...the motor and tranny are tied together with a karata motor plate.

Take a look at page 5 here...So, show me a Gates net page saying they make right and left leaning belts or pulleys.
Wow :loony:Sven;535994 So who gives a shit? Let it walk up the guards. It's not that powerful of a pull. If anything said:pull. So the point is > Directional course, and where the guards are on which side?

Glad you got that taken care of, I just had a similar tracking problem with my new belt except that my belt went in and then out. A obvious defective belt in my case, yours was a little tougher to figure out.
This the brand new belt that I had just installed during my Baker Open Primary upgrade, I had to also get another new belt.
