The only thing I see proof of is Thomas has a bill of sale saying he bought the bike and a signed over registration. That's all the proof cops need. I gave you the police department to call with the home address of the guy selling your bike. You want an email for the police because your English is bad but your typing just fine. Who's playing who here? What have you got that tells us that you had an agreement with Thomas to provide these services on your behalf for purchasing the bike? Emails? Documents? Not trying to be the negative nanny but this all seems to be getting more fishy by the moment. And the idea of going to you local police is a great idea. You can get an English translator to help out. Just sayin..

Unless I'm missing something, I see by the paperwork that his "buddy" Thomas bought the bike from Ivan, so Thomas becomes the new owner. Question is Hemi, do you have any kind of contract and receipts showing you gave your friend Thomas that specified money to purchase the bike on your behalf with agreement to transfer ownership and ship to you? If you have that, your should be golden if you can get in contact with the LAPD, if you don't, I'm not so sure.

Love seeing all these guys lend a hand, right on!!!!

If I slapped down 14K for a 20K bike (and didn't get the bike or my money for six months) you better fucking believe I be at my local police department causing an international fucking emergency. Well at least for me and how mad I'd be.. Your damn right.. IMHO..

Tony, I'm with you on this, sounds fishy. I've been reading the posts and Hemi, (no offense), has not been willing to contact the law on his own. Now I understand the language barrier but for $13k I'd find a way to make it happen. Go through your local police and see what can be done on your behalf before it is too late.

If you can get me proof of ownership and an address I will be in the LA area this week or next delivering a bike.
It would be nothing to go by and take her for a little TEST ride.
I dont know how I can prove that , It looks like my buddy blow me of,He took my money and sold the bike I guess, because he says it is stolen and reported so to LAPD but the vin# is not reported stolen

On that vin check site,it also says there are 15 records attached to that vin,you need an account to dig deeper there.Starting to sound s little fugazy,to me anyway,so far Hemi has shown absolutely nothing with his name on anything,,so unless he has a contract with his "buddy" and a method of payment for the bike, not a money order or transfer to his "buddy",he's SOL...

I think he does have enough to prove it:2cents:

The Spaniard
I still have not gotten a title pic. If I were Hemi, I would have been in Los Angeles Wednesday at the Auto theft detectives desk with the Swedish ambasidor! $13K is just too much money to walk away from!
:agree:

@HemiDart , I have offered my help a couple pages ago... I´ve been a Cop, not only in Spain but in New Zealand too (Diplomatic Protection Squad). If I was you I would already have drafted an statement / report with all the gathered info and started to push buttons.

Anyway, here I am if you need a hand.

Looking forward to retirement
Bothers me he is not acting quick on this. Between his title and everything I got him, that's enough to get the bike impounded so the cops can sort through everything. Like I said earlier, plane ticket is cheaper than watching a $13,000.00 bike disappear !
