The mileage is probobly because the original speedo broke and Ivan replace it whit a digital speedo. What I dont understand is if Thomas reported the bike stolen, why dont the police just call and says yes I buy the bike, where and when. Or so did Thomas sell the bike whit clear title and tells me it is stolen . Can someone help me check if the vin# is reported stolen?

Ok Thomas bought the bike whit my money that I transfer to him the he was going to write a reciept to me about ¤3000 because import tax in Sweden.So I guess he had a title on the bike in his name.

There in lies the problem, doesn't seem like the paper trail will add up and might be the unfortunate repercussions on why it's hard to do business with friends.

From reading this thread seems to difficult to prove ownership and I think police will probably share that sentiment. Unless there is a written contract with dates and items of exchange, none of which seem to have been presented. Anyone can write something and Forge a signature.

Sorry to be pessimistic just calling it how I see it

im not sure anymore lol too many names involved ill have to go back and read everything again if that is the case of it being all in the friends name then it looks like SOL believe me i hope thats not the outcome

We are 19 pages in obviously the most excitement we have gotten in a while.

I thought Ivan was original owner, Thomas was the buddy that bought it for HemiDart.

I guess might work. Now a days technically emails are considered contracts I believe that has been the precedent before. I assume the legal fees will be more than the bike is worth since he is out of the country.

if i were him i would be planning a little suprise visit to my so called buddy unannounced!

With that kinda money involved, I would get copies of all my paperwork and a plane ticket and show up on his door step with the LEO's.
