Rear shocks

You are correct which is why I removed the Worx on my K9 and installed one of the chrome narrow body shocks we sell.
My ride suffered 3 broken shock bolts, all on the hydraulic shock side, within 20,000 miles before I made the change.
Since the change no more broken shock bolts and I have about 30,000 on the new "setup".
I am in no way advocating it will work the same for everyone only expressing personal; experience.
Wow that just confirms what I thought someone might say - that does make total sense so I think I may put the right side 422 back in and put a longer 13 inch [not 11] oil feed pipe in and pull it out of the way with a cable tie or two. So.fingers crossed, that will then be a Bulldog running heavy 422's again

Cool, keep us informed.
I'm sure anyone that can run them will appreciate all the info they can get about how to do it successfully.

Hi,
I write from France
I do not understand.
What is the difference between Worx and WildSteedWorx ?
The first is out ?
The second is the captinAmerika's company ?
Because I am buying a pair of shocks on their site ... And other items !
I sent him messages and I did not receive an answer.
I'm afraid to send money to the United States if the company is out !
Another thing :
Here in France, there is a company that makes shocks on demand.
www.fournales.fr
Do you want me to ask them ? For me and for the community.
A long time ago, they made for me specials shocks for Walkyrie Honda.

Worx is a now defunct shock company.
They closed earlier this year
Wild Steed Worx is not related to them.
WSW is a small company and we're ridiculously busy so it can sometimes take a bit for us to get back to folks.

Aaah Super!
Curtis is WSW!
Now, I am reassured.
I did not know who was who?
Captin, I'm not in a hurry. Just, I did not know if WSW was still open ... ;-)
It's clear in my head now.

So, I'm waiting your answer for air ride shocks for my chopper 2006.
Read you later at all members !

Now, I go to sleep. It's late here.
Have a nice day, Philippe.

At this point folks WSW is looking hard at the Fournales shocks.
In terms of cost they are expensive but their still cheaper than installing full Air Ride and they will fit the BDs.
The left hand shock is tight but a couple of simple minor adjustments can be made to make the left shock fit comfortably.

But they are not easy adjustable I guess?

Hi Curtis, what are the minor adjustments?

Hi,
I contacted them. I'm waiting their answer.
But, they don't know brand BDM.
Here, in Europe, people know only HD, not Saxon, BDM, Iron Horse...
May be, I will must to bring my Chopper toward their company.
Or only my left shock...
We must wait.

Haven't I read that somewhere before.. :oldlaugh:
No, you are obviously mistake

No, you are obviously mistaken. Move along...
I got my information from a couple different sources... but same principle. Rest assured, the folks I'm alluding to are in fact experts, after all.
A proven, permanent, and reliable fix is the goal, and BDM engineers and craftsman, and owners are diligently involved with the R&D processes to fit the best options with a minimum of structural modification. It would not be responsible, or prudent to release details until the applications have been proven both safe and reliable.
It was not my intention to fan the flames of controversy or drama, with my comment.
