Ya little out of sorts today..think I'm suffering from ride withdrawal, dent prolly is as well. But ya see I rode two weeks ago, not dent...ya know why? If ya don't know I would be more tan happy to tell the story..

I only did the billet once so far, I think I can get it done another 5-6 times before Marchif I get it out.

I've been detailing my k-9 for the past few days. I'm to the point where I am seriously considering a complete tear down to clean and polish. I just can't get into every nook and cranny. So I'm spending a lot of time trying too clean and polish around parts that it would just be easier to remove. I've already had front and rear fenders off cleaned polished buffed and all fasteners treated to fresh blue loctite.

My concern is wiring issues and oil leaks from the tear down.

Any advice? I know some of you doo this every few years. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

I do a complete tear down to the frame every two years. It's a great way to get to know your girl really well, and caress and love each part of her. I'm not that far away, if you can't remember which tire goes on the front.

I'm not that comfortable taking my bike apart just to clean it, so it just gets cleaned as good as I can get it! How many watts are those red light bulbs? LEDs ??

Don't you remember the old format we had a couple years ago. The bottom bar was a chat room. to my knowledge, nobody used it, but there wasn't as much BS going on back then.

getting back on track for a moment, Bigdaddy, How far, in tearing the bike apart , were you thinkin ? some of those parts are better left alone, and some are fine to pull off ??
