New battery, new keys, no vroom.

Sorry to say, but the wiring looks not very good.
Check the new connecting for wiring plus, if there is one off and especially the big Plus-connector in the last picture looks horrible, open the isolating tape and make this important connector saver.

I"m sure you've searched other threads.

Don't JUMP start your DOG!

I have the WP, and the RUN ON/OFF button does cause some issues if you depress it. Even with a key reset, it sometimes won't let me reset my bike to start up, I usually hit it by accident coming off another bike. But mine doesn't CLICK, it just does nothing.

Anyhow, I believe a blinking green light is not normal.

Check the CCA's off your battery FIRST. Don't assume because it's a NEW battery it is putting out enough juice. These batteries sit on shelves in warehouses...

Also, check the big STARTER GROUND. Boomer4444 had a similar issue and did all kinds of tests and found that his starter ground was securely bolted on, but the bolt was tapped out on the inside and didn't make a good connection. Check all your grounds and make sure you have good connections.

It really sounds like it's a ground/power issue to me. I had issues with mine, and downloaded the WP374 wiring diagram, and the BDM diagram and traced EVERY wire down, did continuity tests etc...to fix all my issues.

Edit: Does it click when you hit the START BUTTOM or before then? Mine does the following. I turn the key on, the headlight is on high beam, it clicks and goes to low beam. My light on my box BEFORE I hit START, after turning on the key is SOLID RED. I'd fire it up to see if it changes, BUT it's -10 right now....hahahahaha

Sorry super busy at work and holidays..

I did the bypass and the starter turned.
I discovered that the relay has a bunch of electrical tape around it, and that's why I couldn't find it.

Goin to remove the tape and rewire the relay and see if that fixes the problem.

Probably the relay...
I have the pdm version and same thing happened to me. Unfortunately for me it was the "pcm" module (the gold ehc looking thing) that was bad. Had a spare, replaced it and started right up! Hope it is just the relay!

PROGRESS!

I pulled off the electrical tape and found a loose cable.
Fixed the loose cable, etc.
Reconnected battery and hit start and it turned! So we're moving forward.

So I turned the throttle twice and tried starting and it just turned and turned and turned. Gas is turned on and everything but it won't start. After I tried that for a couple minutes, I got leakage coming from where the filter is.

Also, when I turn the throttle even slightly while trying to start, it stops trying to start till I release.
Tried just one time with the choke up slightly and it wouldn't try to crank either.
When I turn the key I can hear the fuel pump prime so don't think it's that.
Should I change out spark plugs maybe? When I got the bike, the choke was already up and I have read that it's possible to foul the plugs by running the bike with the choke up.

Any ideas?

K so I'm picking up new plugs on the way. Probably autozone. Any specific brand? Gonna grab a new filter to be safe also.

Picked up the plugs but they were too small for the Bulldog. So I cleaned the old ones and got them good and clean and reinstalled.
Tried to restart the bike and have the same problem. Seems like it's trying to start more but the oil started leaking out again from the air filter.
Do I need to drain something maybe?

Also, the battery died this time around of trying to start it so I put it back on the charger again.
Still the same problem if I touch the throttle at all while holding start button, it stops attempting to start.

OIL?????????

Are you sure you have the right amount of oil in there? Not too much???

Oil coming out of breather worst case means the engine itself is worn out. Meaning the piston rings are worn and causing excessive crank case pressure and blowing out of breather. Not saying this is problem, but it could be.

How many miles has it?

The oil should be checked when its on the kick stand. I believe you Bulldog is the same as my Mastiff so when looking in the oil fill tube there should only be a little oil showing in the bottom of the tube. Oil coming out of the carb is a sign of too much oil. Also when your cranking it over do not twist the throttle, that will disengage the compression releases, thats why it stops cranking cause of the higher compression. Even if the battery is new, with all the cranking your doing, surely your wearing it down and its not fully charged.
I just recently changed my oil and plugs, and while the plugs were out I cranked it to get some of the old oil out of the motor and after 30 seconds I could here the cranking slowing down even though the plugs were out.

Also the heavier thicker Guage cables should be against the battery posts. All the other wires on top of those. Shouldn't be the cause of your problems bit it is best practice. Good luck.
Looking at your pics of the battery post's, didn't the battery come with 2 brass spacers with a flat on them? These are the spacers required to go on first so you don't bend the spade terminals when tightening the terminal screws.

Good spotting Ker, but this NOT the problem right now....

Here you can see one of these spacers Ker is referring to:

So i got it started and even drove to work.

On the way home though, started sputtering a bit and feeling like it was gonna die if i didnt give more gas.

Its on the first fresh tank of gas in a year.
