Captain, have you had any durability issues? I've bought two and have only installed on the K9 so far. I put about 1200 miles and at some point in the last 200 I've lost low beam. I assume I don't have the most miles on it .

I'm not home now to stick a meter on it. But I just can't imagine it's a lose wire I can cycle high and low just doesn't work. But of course I will double check the wires in the bucket are getting juice.

Really the dissapointment is having to take the fucking headlight ring out again, really sick of headlight issues.

I know these are electrical, but is there any warranty on these lights that you get from the manufacturer?

Is it staying on low beam when you switch it or is it jumping back to High beam?
You will get taken care of by WSW.
Have you been having on going issues with your headlight?
If so then you may have to consider that there is something else going on in your electrical system.
Keep in mind WSW has about 300 of these lights out there now.
One of which has been in my 06 K9 for about 1500 miles now.
We had a couple of issues earlier on with a low wattage situation where the EHC wanted to keep jumping back up to high beam, we have since gone to a slightly higher wattage to resolve those issues, but beyond that nothing.
If the low beam is just gone let me know via email, wsworx@gmail.com, and I will get another light out to you with a return label and pouch so you can send that one back to us for review.

Thanks Kaptain - I'll take it apart and let you know if it's the wires. I did buy two LED's from you so I can try the other one that I haven't installed in the other bike yet. I'm back home now so hopefully I can get around to checking out that light soon I was on my 1600 mile trip and lost the light about halfway.

Haven't had ongoing headlight issues that are electrical. I lost my outer trim ring, then I got a new bucket. I dropped the lense when I took it out and smashed on the ground, and I used a cheap lense I had laying around. The locking tab broke and the light would spin in the bucket so I picked up a new Adjure lense and thought I was done taking a headlight apart at least 1 month. It's just been a laundry list of headlight issues, but this is the first electrical the rest are just stupid.

It was not automatically jumping to high. I could manually kick it back and forth. Either light is on or off does't automatically default over to stay on. Which lead me to believe it wasn't a voltage issue and I have the PDM, so not sure if it defaults like the EHC does?

Just to clear this. I took the headlight apart and appears that the socket was a bit worn and H4 plug seemed to have moved just a little bit. LED Light works just fine. I replaced ceramic socket with another one I had laying around that was a very tight fit so I should be all set.

When I installed mine, I used a zip tie, to secure the harness and the plug together, so they cant back out or vibrate loose.

Well that's a hell of a good idea! You brought your thinking shoes that day.

When I pulled it out it probably was only 1/8th of an inch out of the socket not a lot but just enough apparently! Odd that I lost low and over 800 more miles never lost high. The socket wasn't that lose I just had another harness laying around so threw that in while I was in there for good measure.

Yep, just did not want to have to go back in once I got the light in. But i also wanted it removable IF it needed to be. zip tie, between 2 of the wires, on both the harness and the plug keeps it On the plugs, and pull tight. no worries it will back out.. and a simple snip, and its free to remove.

I wish I did that now wouldn't have had to pull it apart 2x, at least by the 3x ill have a better fix! haha

I gotta install the LED on my 04 still, I'll do it there the first time if i don't forget by then!
