Just made the cut I think! Hopefully the back order isn't too long. I had a million issues with my HID light I finally pulled it out. Almost replaced my entire EHC system thinking it was that, turns out it was the HID light from Jake. Bike quit liking it for some reason after about a year

Anyway, I hate the stock low temp halogen so I'm certainly looking forward to this! Thanks for the deal Curtis!

First take the set-screw out:

Second take the beauty ring off by spinning it counter clock wise. You may need to put some duct tape (inside out) on your fingers to get a grip on the ring:

Third lossen the securing ring. I used two philips screw drivers to turn the ring counter clock wise:

Once that ring is off, everything else will be a breeze. I put anti-seize compound on the threads before installing everything back. Makes future removal a lot easier...:D

Man you have some good hearing Paul, unless maybe something is wearing out on the fan, you might have the first faulty LED

My fan comes on everytime there is power to the light....low, but I can hear it.

Looking forward to retirement
I love my light! Put one in the Big Dog & the HD Ultra Classic. As soon as they come out with the smaller lights I will put them in the touring lights on the front of the Ultra.
