Question, were there any signs that warned motorcyclists of uneven pavement ahead? get back there asap and take some pics....bet your azz if a atty contacts the state a sign will be posted and then its your word against theirs

Mark...first off, good to hear that you're still alive. Sue the pants off the State DOT. I guarantee you, that if you get a good attorney(not an ambulance chaser) you will have a good case. Dollars to donuts the DOT has had many compaints about that problem and has done nothing to fix it.<<< That's why you need a good attorney.

Hey Mark, I'm very pleased your accident wasn't as bad as it potentially could have been, all things considered. I have to agree with CoahK about possibly suing your DOT. I'd recommend at least receiving some legal consultation on the topic. If not, your insurance will be on the hook to pay for your med bills and damages to your scoot, which can increase your insurance payment. I'm amazed at how many state DOTs construction companies completely disregard motorcyclists while they're improving or updating existing roads. Fact is they cause more hazards especially for us high speed two-wheel commuters than they fix.
