Gas,
Mine is the spring with the 'locking ball'. I like it. It's a bit shorter so your bike leans a bit more when it's on the kickstand but I think it looks pretty sweet!

Also,
you fellas may think I'm crazy (read as stupid) but I bought some clear plastic tubing at Lowes and use about 2 or 3 inches to protect the tip of the kickstand. I replace it every few months if it starts to get ragged looking. Can't see spending that much (can't remember now but I know it was $$) and then letting it get all scraped up!

After you wash your bike or get caught in the rain a few times, it's a good idea to put some of that dry lube on it to keep it going up and down smoothly. I picked some of that stuff Ray uses from the bicycle store. Same stuff I use on my cables. This stuff dries into a powder so it doesn't attract dirt.

Not sure about that telescopic thing, think the road salt here in Michigan will just rust her out and make her stick. Gas, hate to see that bike go down again :job: Yea, just being a smart ass:spank:

Rememer though, my 03 mounting may be different than yours.
LDO & Sin... those are all right in line.

Further, it looks like they are basically Arlen Ness ones.

I would love to find a kickstand with better chrome than the stock BDM unit, with a fist at the end flying the royal salute. High quality if you will.

Gas as I said the one for our bikes is not pictured and I can't find one that is. Thats only what the kickstand looks like, I talked to vicky before all the shit went down and she was pretty positive that the 11-042 was a 2 hole mount for the softails. As I said I was a little more comfortable with some kind of flat on the ground. Another thing I liked was that the kickstand itself was chrome but the mount was polished stainless. Which I believe over time the constant motion may eventually chip the chrome but with the stainless I could just polish.

Yeah I knew what ya meant... just wasn't sure if you had more info on the correct one.

If you look closely to the round one... I think the tip actually sticks up. It looks like a flat spot right at the angle..
