Since Mick already knew the correct jets I went ahead and ordered everything.
Good luck.Mounted the Spike today. I put the VANCE & Hines back on to make sure the filter was not interfering with the air/fuel mixture. Seems fine. The new Carburetor will be here next week. Question: The top Mounting Bolt on the carb seems easy enough to get to. The lawn guys came and I had to stop and put the tarp back on. I didn't get a chance to look at the bottom Bolt. Can I get a Socket in from the opposite side...between the jugs?
When I replace jets on the new Carburetor, are they supposed to be screwed in tightly or gently?Yes Super G. You are gonna wanna try .050 air bleed, .031 inter. & a .076 main for that Blow Exhaust. Should be able to dial it in with that setup.
Just bottom them out. No GorillaWhen I replace jets on the new Carburetor, are they supposed to be screwed in tightly or gently?
It can be accessed from the left side. Not easily but it can be done. Just an all around pain in the ass. Also, can the bottom bolt be easily accessed from the opposite side between the jugs?

Looks fantastic!Little more progress today. I put the rear wheel on and did a little bit of polishing. Also, installed a new battery. Fenders should be ready in a week or so. Space Coast has the mounting bracket for the Forward Controls so waiting on that, hopefully not too long because it was a small package...another $1,040. I still have to Chrome the Primary Inner and Outer. So, total Chrome cost $8K. They did a fantastic job so I'm not complaining.Tomorrow I'll try to install new Ignition Cover, Motor Mount Bracket, Head Bolt Covers, Rear Belt Guard, and Plug Wires. If i have time I'll try to install the License Plate & Wiring. Ordered a new Cam Cover and an Arlen Ness Oil Pressure Gauge & Rocker Box Bracket. I like how easy the cable Mounts to the oil screen for easy inspection and cleaning. So, overall a decent day.
