Since Mick already knew the correct jets I went ahead and ordered everything.
Good luck.Mounted the Spike today. I put the VANCE & Hines back on to make sure the filter was not interfering with the air/fuel mixture. Seems fine. The new Carburetor will be here next week. Question: The top Mounting Bolt on the carb seems easy enough to get to. The lawn guys came and I had to stop and put the tarp back on. I didn't get a chance to look at the bottom Bolt. Can I get a Socket in from the opposite side...between the jugs?
When I replace jets on the new Carburetor, are they supposed to be screwed in tightly or gently?Yes Super G. You are gonna wanna try .050 air bleed, .031 inter. & a .076 main for that Blow Exhaust. Should be able to dial it in with that setup.
Just bottom them out. No GorillaWhen I replace jets on the new Carburetor, are they supposed to be screwed in tightly or gently?
It can be accessed from the left side. Not easily but it can be done. Just an all around pain in the ass. Also, can the bottom bolt be easily accessed from the opposite side between the jugs?
