Let the games begin! And the filter goes up for air flow reasons as well, that's why most guys to put them up. Also, depending on your altitude, that spike may not flow enough. I had one at sea level and had to take it off, but now that I'm up in CO at 5000' I can run one again...
Your choice, of course - like I said there are lots of stories about these things - but I've been running mine, at sea level, with no problems - and confirmed on a dyno, BTW.Whoa! Is the functionality something I should consider before they install this?
Shit dude! congrats on your new scoot!![]()
I like the paint.....I think they call that negative furnace flames...they had one like that at my dealer...but that got sold before I could get my hands on it...
don't forget to put up more pics.....
I was looking at the K-9's for almost a year....before I was in a position to buy one.....I was checking out the different paint graphics also! and being the one I wanted was sold....I took the left over 06 with the metal torn ripped paint....I am happy with what I gotBoy you know your graphics, it is called "negative flames..."
but later on down the road..I am going to go with flames and skulls paint...
:2thumbs:Congrats - Great Bike. Depends on the spike - others will chime in who have them, but seems to depend on which spike you have, wimmer or d&m - Pointing up has eliminated problems with running and front cylinder fouling up.
