The wait suks but it will all be a memory very shortly.

In the meantime you should be ordering some polishing and waxing items, and starting to purchase your mods. Good Luck

does this dealer sell anything else? I can't imagine how they can justify a week to get your new bike ready. I feel sorry for you. If they are this bad at the time of the sale I can't imagine how long you will wait for repair or service work

Educate me, what in the world does that mean? "jet kit, .076 and stock .072." I'm absolutely ignorant when it comes to understanding my bike, I just ride...I assume jetting the bike is absolutely mandatory when you install after market pipes, and have a carbeurator.

Go Saturday and get it. Pipes are about an hour to do - tops.
Ask them if they installed the jet kit for the V&H also.. I think it should be
.076 and stock is .072.

Unless they are waiting for the check to clear
:)

Isn't it the worst, especially when you know your getting reemed in the ASS
Dropped mine off Saturday in Little Rock AR (2 hours away) for 5000 mile service and the recall stuff. Called today and they said there still waiting on parts:job: . Weathers been in the 60's since the day I dropped it off. I feel ya man  :bang:

I'm in NJ, and the dealer is Chrome and Custom....
Chrome and Custom Cycles

don't ask?

For new pipes and a breather and assume rejetting. At tops 2-3 hours for a novice mechanic. What's the name of the dealership?

I don't want to ever go there. Sounds like one of the dealers down here. They get your money and then don't care about you anymore. But seeing that you're in New Jersey, the weather probably sucks anyway, but you can sit on it in the garage and go "vrroooom vvrrrrooooooom!"

I won't be able to drop in today, but they will get an ear full tomorrow....to be quite honest with you, I wasn't happy with them even when I bought the bike, but they're the only BDM in my state...how sad is that?
It could be worse - I don't have a BDM dealer in my entire country! I agree, go get the thing and do the work yourself - its all easy to do - I have done it and I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff - everything you need to know which may not be obvious will be covered on here or just ask and you will get all the answers you need - the satisfaction of doing it yourself is great too

Lee, thanks for the tip....but I did stop by, and everything is installed, and the last step is the test drive, which they haven't been able to do, because its 8 degrees today here in NJ...
Cute avatar, I have two myself...Sumo and Geisha
