Whoa! Is the functionality something I should consider before they install this? Has anyone had issues with this...I live in Jersey, and mostly ride locally. Should I look for something more practical?
Let the games begin! And the filter goes up for air flow reasons as well, that's why most guys to put them up. Also, depending on your altitude, that spike may not flow enough. I had one at sea level and had to take it off, but now that I'm up in CO at 5000' I can run one again...

Your choice, of course - like I said there are lots of stories about these things - but I've been running mine, at sea level, with no problems - and confirmed on a dyno, BTW.

Nice bike...On the spike I originally had mine pointed up and eventualy I got tired of it so now it's forward. I also have the VH BR's and I have had no issues running the spike either way, but I did notice that having the spike upwards it did tend to get in the way of my inner knee like I felt I had to ride with my right leg in a awkward position than when pointed forward. Take care and congrats!

First 50
I live in NY and had mine delivered without reflectors......

The only times I've been pulled over have all been so the cop can ask me what kind of bike I have. :2thumbs: :whoop:

I have the D&M Raptor and the VH pipes. Raptor pointed forward, 5000 miles and no problems. Make sure they put a support bracket on when they install the D&M. :hi: Welcome aboard and the bike looks great. :2thumbs:

Congrats :2thumbs: The only downside of owning a big dog is it takes awhile to get used to people asking the following questions. Did you biuld it? Where did you buy it? How much did it cost?

When Will I MY Bike

I can't take it anymore...I bought my K-9 Tuesday, and I"m installing new pipes and breathers, but I can't wait any more. Would it be wrong for me to call the dealer to see how she's doing? I can't stop thinking about her. :willy_nilly:
