Like I just mentioned somewhere, but thick doublesided tape on both sides between pad and bar. That will keep it nice and tight.Just looking to see how everyone's mounting their sissy bar pad to the bar. Looks like could fall out. How did you mount yours. All ideas are welcomed
Yeah I lost one as well.. but I was new to the whole "American muscle bike" and didn't know about checking bolts often.. so I learned some medium duty lock tight and check em frequently.. almost lost an air cleaner tooI lost one on my 07 Mastiff a few years ago. They can fall out.
Do you have a link possibly I can't find themI bought 2 split rings from mcmaster carr that were polished and bolted them to the sissy bar as they have 2 allen bolts to hold them together. You just bolt them under the bottom of the pad and the pad can't slide down at all!!! I have 2 pads on my 18 inch sissy bar so i got 2 split rings for each pad and they don't look bad at all!
