Just looking to see how everyone's mounting their sissy bar pad to the bar. Looks like could fall out. How did you mount yours. All ideas are welcomed

The sissy bars go in between the plate and pad. I was wondering the same thing when I was removing it from my sissy bar but it was very secure until I loosened the screws.

I lost one on my 07 Mastiff a few years ago. They can fall out.
Yeah I lost one as well.. but I was new to the whole "American muscle bike" and didn't know about checking bolts often.. so I learned some medium duty lock tight and check em frequently.. almost lost an air cleaner too

I bought 2 split rings from mcmaster carr that were polished and bolted them to the sissy bar as they have 2 allen bolts to hold them together. You just bolt them under the bottom of the pad and the pad can't slide down at all!!! I have 2 pads on my 18 inch sissy bar so i got 2 split rings for each pad and they don't look bad at all!

I had one come loose on the original K-9, by the time the pad got to K-9 mach 2 the hard plastic plate inside cracked.
I made a new pad and used aluminum angle iron on the and placed it so it was on the outside of the sissy bar and since it is sloped It coiuld never slide down since the top was narrower than the bottom -- Made the pad longer but a little to think and gf didn't like it -- hit wrong spot on back, so we're riding without a backrest pad and she's ok with that.

I just cut some 5/8" clear water line, slice it length wise and wrap it where the pad goes, then install the pad. Never come off.
