I think I just read a freudian slip of the tongue? "a slip of the tongue that is motivated by and reveals some unconscious aspect of the mind. "

bigdogTECH, If you notice my MO, I am motivated by people's tech abstract and if it does not meet the fundamentals I've explained, it's easy to see who knows their shit and who does not. How could I be jealous of your cluelessness?

If you notice, there have been accusations of my theories I present, and there has yet to be a counter to my tech as being wrong somehow? That to me say, "Bring in the other number if you think my formula is wrong." Maybe you are jealous you can't? I don't know, don't care about you personally, biggy. It's your tech that's makes for good conversation how one approaches a bolt as to set the proper torque vs. tear out the threads vs let the parts slip away down the road.

How in thell did you conclude I am jealous of your torque values being all over the place is beyond me? Doesn't that sound like you have the issues not me? And from the beginning, I caught some kind of common sense that is to say, that 40lb bag of weight onto a bolt and you've seen a 10lb discrepancy?

So if you go back to whatever one of you 'Runner Uppers' ticked you off, go search deep inside. I am far from being jealous of the realities you pee scent = Piss on that!
Like I said, clearly you are jealous. The fact you have admitted in the past to not knowing anything about "American" type motorcycles. You only work on metric bikes out of your mothers basement (you sent me pictures, remember?) and metric bikes are nothing like these bikes. Harleys are similar, but still not the same. Big dog is a breed of it's own. Working on a metric bike is like working on a Hoover vacuum, they are very easy to work on, takes very little knowledge of how they work to repair a problem, and most of you metric guys have the same mentality..."we all know more than you." :loony:
The reality of it is, for a fact, you do not know more than I with these bikes, you have no experience working on them, and you are openly jealous of the fact I actually have an education with working on motorcycles, not just opening a book and reading something while your Mommy is cooking your breakfast for you.
I have real world experience on top of hundreds of hours of training. Not only at MMI (which you have openly admitted to being jealous of) but also on the job training as well.
So do us all a favor and crawl back into your Momma's basement and stick to working on your little metric bikes while jerking off to bestiality porn

Mr. Engineer from Metro Detroit, Please describe to us what you consider to be a (real) Engineer?

I missed that part while earning my lifetime membership in Tau Beta Pi, Theta of California, back in 1978.
Real engineers are the 30-40% of us that made it through the 4 most grueling years of college to come out the other side with a degree that allows us to never be unemployed.

The truly smart ones rode motorcycles so that we could prove to the hot chicks we were cool AND able to buy them a big house! I'm only so so smart - I'm on my second hot chick. The first one cost me the big house!:D

No offense, tech, but I used to retrain these MMI guys that came to the shop. You do know I recoined those letters to "Missed Most Instructions" are some, not all, of the results that came out of that place.

Over at shovelusa, I found the shop manual there. Had some regular runner upper (as yourself) began to point out how he'll keep the engine running like the book explained and I reversed the engineering on him. He would rather score the parts dry and I found another route without it running. "Shovelicious" Pee Sents one shovel from the ground up. Sold it to a :flag: and he sent a photo of his trip. Kick start only. How much you wanna bet it starts with one kick? If yours does with one kick, how could I be jealous we are all even up?... Get it?

Oh, look what just rolled into the door awhile back. This is a check compression/wire&fire/oil tight/1/4 kick, like step on it, not kick it thru... The challenge to this bike, not a one kick... Are we on the same page knowing how we can feel a harley's pulse?

She goes bye the name of "Bulletproof." That bike crashed, came back as this. First bike had a dutch replica springer... Squidboy learned the hard way of the street so he bought the bike back... Anyway, sold this so he could get a late model bagger selling the shov and evo. Kept the pan. Where did you get the idea I can't run withe big boys? Notice the donated black wheels. Notice the metrick bike [in the back] all stripped down so it's lighter/faster than out the crate. I only ride the world's fastest production bike and then step it up in the electrical dept. I think I can hold my own no matter the origin or era there, fella.

Here is my 'On The Job Training.' This is running against the countries best [at the time]. So if you do not have a well tuned bike that can last the classroom rumble, some may tumble, how's a couple of local nationals sound, like taking a 3rd and a 2nd, and then retired from the sport that day. I'm my own 'Runner Upper'

How in the hell am I jealous of anyone here? YOu must have a screw loose... Find a torque wrench and check yourself out.

Signed,

NOLTT

Wow, I am soooooooo impressed with your knowledge of old school choppers :loony::loony::loony:
Please teach me all mighty SVEN (bowing my head to the floor) :loony::job::job:
Reverse engineering huh? :eek::loony:
And what is it with you and having to use the word "torque" in every sentence? Did you just learn this word or something? Fucking nut job :job:

I have found out the younger generation knows more about old school than you and I put together, tech. That was my nephew in the scene, told me to put these parts together he bought to give it his look, not mine. So you are wrong with a few of those torque settings I wouldn't use, along with me having any knowledge of old school.

I thought if I repeated it enough times you'd [get the hint] to recheck some of those settings like the front end LOL. It's like training the MMI all over again, but on the net. :D I cannot imagine me tweaking the front end to your specs and winding up at the same place... If you get my drift.

Even my videos are assbackasswords, goofing your ass is. In other words, the joke is on you is dishit out and now take it!!

Really like that turbo bike too did you built it?
No, did you build the bike you ride? See previous post as in dishit out, scooter poster, you'll be in the same boat.

And I have yet to see any new numbers to dispute the old school forever schooled is real tech here... someone brought up BS and now 4 years of college losing house... and look at all the red rug burns  Even 4 years of study, I flip flop thru the pages, look up two words and budda boom budda bing... where were you to describe how simple and complex the black box is let alone 760mmHg? :D

You really are a special kinda stupid. :loony:Torque specs on front end? The only thing I changed on that list was the axle pinch bolts (1/4-20) 9ft lbs max!! and the lower tree pinch bolts (5/16-18) 10ft lbs. Yes, these are the correct torque settings. Any more, you risk damaging the front end jackass. Like you said before, you have NEVER worked on a Big dog, and thank God for that. I would hate to be any customer of yours. You would spend 2 hrs explaining to them how you revers engineered everything on their bike while describing in a way, no one can understand.
When I come to Europe this year, you and I should meet up in a dark alley so we can continue this discussion :loony:

Maybe we should start a pole on here of who actually gives the best technical advice, SVEN or Bigdogtch01?? As far as I can tell, you have NEVER helped ANYONE on here with a real problem. You get on here, smoking whatever it is your smoking, and post this mumbo jumbo bull shit no one can understand, not even you, and feel you are more intelligent than myself or anyone else on this site?!! Yes, that makes you a very special kinda stupid. Your Mamma must be so proud :loony:

Hahaha, SVEN is a Swedish name. But, he sure doesn't act Swedish. All the Swedish guys I know are not cocky, I know all, assholes like this guy...who knows...he has yet to disclose this info for us...for all we know, he could be housed in some prison somewhere :job:

I don't think mommy raised a smart kid? Even Franco knows different. :D
I'd like to invite you to "POP" out west, introduce you to the surf, as in Curtis Turner style... :whoop:

Tech, I believe I have 2 points as [rep power] to helping some around here? Look at my status and that was just speaking generic bike repair. Ah, now I see a confidence issue about having a pole? Is this where the jealousy begins for you?

It's just a standard day, eh Sven (Elgin?)?

Or do I need to tell you that 29.92 times?
Now, see that, techy? At least DRB stayed on topic. :2thumbs:

Well, this explains your axle torque settings is squeezed them so tight it won't get out of its own way or did you tune this puppy up...LOL
