First big dog, Need help getting k9 to fire with bad EHC.

Energy One
I know the EHC is bad. No power to the bike at all. Brand new battery and I can manually get the bike to crank. I need fire from the ignition but how do I get that with no power to anything.

I’m in the Greensboro area. Thomasville to be exact. Man I’m strapped for cash that’s why I was asking about the straight wire. My dad bought the bike in 09 and rode for years until he just can’t. He let me have it and told me the problem. So I’m just really wanting to hear it run again and get my first ride on it. How much do you want for the ehc.

Welcome from Pa.
What year bike? Is it stock electrical? When you say no power anywhere are you familiar with the system on these dogs.

I put a brand new battery and no leds on the ehc or anything else. It’s 08 k9. And honestly no I’m not. But I really want this thing to work out for me. It’s all stock

Just be patient and do not straight wire the bike...it will cost you more money to do that at this point...See if you and Paul can work out a deal on the ehc he has...if not just save up your money till you can get it or one from Wild Steed Worx..

Theses bikes are a little different in the wiring. Only around 5 volts on the inputs to the EHC and then they get grounded for the input to turn on. Also if the headlight does not come on it won't try and start.
