First big dog, Need help getting k9 to fire with bad EHC.

I just want to say to all you guys on here. Curtis at wild steed is the man. I strongly recommend anyone who needs parts or just needs information about these dogs go through him. He is on the other side of the country from me. VIA phone he mocked up a wiring harness at his shop and went wire to wire troubleshooting each one just to help me start ripping up the pavement. I purchased a new VR system and ehc from him and I’m now riding this beast for the first time. BDM are the greatest.

Keep riding .. sitting around does them no good !

Never jump from running vehicle .
Use only trickle charger to charge batt.
If a jump pack is used disconnect immediately once started .

Probably should not ever power wash bike ..
Water seems to be one of their worst enemies.

(If your Dog is a garage queen, disregard the following)
If you take the time to waterproof your Dog, a car wash isnt a skeery thing. Get ya a can of marine conformal coating and spray every pcb board on the bike front and back. This will prevent water(from any source) from fuggering up the boards. I'd recommend heat shrink tube on all other plug connections that you have. The less water getting to connections and electronics the better. Just my .02 Glad ur in the wind.... now ya need to come to Dave's in Sept.
