Ahhh! Interesting!

Did you widen it a little after you cut it? Just wondering if you got a little air gap in between?

Throw some type of epoxy on those Allen head bolts to prevent them from backing out?

Not really, just smashed them on there lol.

I did add a single layer of DEI titanium pipe wrap between.

I used red loctite, (which will likely melt) and lock washers. Between the wrap and flexing the pipe on there they are loaded up well.

Probably got a 1000 miles, still tight.

A little heat wrap might do it and keep it cool enough not to blue immediately.

I almost wonder since you cut the exhaust to cerakote or something similar the underside and Chuck it in your oven to bake it

I forgot, I actually did cerakote most of the back, but the main reason I did it was to cover the raw edges since I cut it

I was really hoping somebody tried these Blow exhausts regardless of the limited clearance. They look just like FSDs, which I think are the coolest pipes I've seen. It looks like they stop before any RHD or tire interference would happen, which is the whole point of this style pipe.

Its not the rear tire or swing arm they dont clear its the clutch cover or final belt drive cover. If you take pictures and measurments and send them to the woman from my rmail she will tell you the clearances again. I've since deleted my talks with her but the clearence was to close for comfort for me.

Hey they are designed for left side drives. This is the company I posted about that are the original makers of the FSD pipes. They quit making them about the time FSD stopped shipping and respinding to everyone. I did a big post about it a while back. But i sent them the measurement from the frame to the outter most part of the final belt drive cover and i cant remember but there was less than an inch clearance. So they didnt know if they would work. And once you buy them you cant return them so i didnt take the chance.
Do you know if BLOW would consider making a custom exhaust. If they were the original manufacturer of FSD exhausts, do you think they would provide one if paid extra?

As they are in Australia its hard to say. But as Frankie is back in production Ima guess they wouldnt touch a FSD design.

His site says he's back in production but I've been unable to contact him or place an order on the site. You can only enter your contact in. I've done this three times over the past 6 months. No response.
I encountered this problem too. No. Blow doesn’t make exhaust for our bikes anymore and that’s that. Frankie isn’t doing that anymore and I seriously doubt he ever will. It’s a shame but it is what it is. That’s why I put big radius on mine and it’s doing great. Good luck

Unfortunately these will not work on the K9 because it’s right side drive. If you have a chopper or something that is LSD they will work. Believe me, Knothead and I spent the better part of a Saturday trying. Without cutting and re fabricating then rechroming they WILl NOT WORK. I won’t go into detail about it because I don’t want to say anything bad about Andrew but if he tells you they fit it doesn’t mean it’s true. Best of luck with the pipes. I really wanted FSD or blow. I have the big radius because that’s the next best option that will actually fit.

I reached out years ago and they wouldn't. But maybe they changed their minds. But I do know they use to offer a chopper style that was identical to the fsd. Which were their chopper line.
