Closing in on 1,000 miles on my 07 Mastiff and so far no big problems, I did notice as the miles rack up it runs better and better - go figure.

I have a question .. I installed a Pressure gauge and still have the oil pressure switch as well. When I start it up pressure reads about 30psi and as it warms or at idle about 15-20psi. When I run it hard for 10 or 15 miles say at 2500-3000 rpms when I come to a stop the pressure reads 0 psi, if I give it some gas it goes to maybe 15psi -- the pressure switch is working fine. Is this normal??? my HD would drop to 7psi at low idle. I am now concerned there may be something wrong with the oil pump that causes it to lose pressure when hot. Thanks Guys!! if your ever in the Central Florida area lets have a beer!
Hay Slowrower any more info on the low oil psi ??? Mine dose the same thing. I notice it more if i shut it off and restart it shortly there after... comes right up with some throttle

I finally cracked 1k on my 07 K-9 and no problems. Working off shore keeps me from riding as much as I would like, but I'm making time for myself this summer to get out and ride more. :2thumbs:

Just turned 8000 on mine today. Went for a 200 mile jaunt by myself spur of the moment. Mid eighties:whoop: Been an excellent bike. Two starters, neck bearings, handle bar bushings, couple recalls, needs battery covers. My speedo just broke last ride and I have one fork seal that is seeping. Very happy with my bike, it's not going anywhere. Time for a service and a fresh coat of wax.

Only have ~3700 on it this first year, but that did include the ride out of Daytona through the storms/tornadoes. A lot of time was wasted waiting for it to be shipped home from Georgia.

Have a couple of minor little things to take care of, but it's been solid as a rock.

I've got enough confidence now to take it on some longer trips around Alaska and Yukon Territory next year.

The more I ride it, the better it gets! I've had to force myself to take out the ol' Softail, and I'm talking as a road captain in the local HOG.

Going on my fourth year and to date have only broken a clutch cable.
I stay ahead on maintenance.
My speedo does fog up, but I rarely look at the it, just the odometer so I know when it is time to feed the Beast. :choppersmiley:

I've had one broken clutch cable... and that's it. Ran my ass up to Sturgis last year, and back to San Antonio. 80% of the trip was in 103+ deg temps and she ran like a scolded dog. :2thumbs:

Hate the payments, LOVE the bike. :D

Yeah, those payments suck but I got rid of mine finally last year. But just like you I ran out to Sturgis last year two up with a full load of camping gear and the bike just ran and ran. That was in addition to Daytona from Washington St. Redwood Run, and many other runs in other states.

This year is another list of runs and weather!!!! :D

My 07 K9 was the same. I switched to Lucas 50WT oil and installed an oil cooler. Now it reads around 7 psi. Before i did this my oil light was even coming on.

Next time around the block I'll have put 4000 miles son the K9 this summer (6200 total).

One broken clutch cable. No complaints at all.

I can't wipe the grin off my face when I'm riding it.

It's one hell of a chick magnet too!

I have a 2007 Bulldog with 10,000 miles. I have broken the bracket holding the exhaust to the frame once.. Other than this minor issue and going through back tires in less then six months(ouch). It really has exceeded my expectations in preformance and overall reliability expectations. I have a friend with 2004 Vengence and other then catching on fire... everything has failed at least once. Engine head gasket, transmission, clutch, primary belt, etc
