In the upper right hand corner on the BDB website you will see an envelope next to your name. Click on that and then click on Start A New Conversation. Add the member names you want to contact and add your message then send. Good luck.

And not tell the buyer about the future tire situation? I suppose it depends on your moral...
Who would ever buy a Big Dog bike if ya told the buyer all the problems associated with the bike and the future problems you might have. Or for that matter every thing has the potential to be a problem and if you made the buyer aware of them, your liable to have it for a long time.

I don't buy anything without researching it, in today's world its too easy to search

Actually I was looking at buying a Wolf and even settled on a price and everything with this same guy but he wouldn't accept a cashier's check, so it fell through. I promise he never ever said a word about tire issues. I found out later about the that. And yes, I do know better, so don't remind me.
I suppose he has an right to run his business as he wants, and nobody has to buy a tire from him. But---you better do your due diligence with this guy because he will do you if it suits his interests.

Again, just take that money and get a new wheel cut.
My thoughts exactly Gil!

Some of us love a challenge..
Yes, and if you fall in love with a bike, you will buy it "no matter" the bullshit you have to go through to keep it going! I bought my bike fully aware of "All" potential problems and I still didn't bat an eye! I love Big Dog Motorcycles and will always ride one over any other brand!

yes thank you. I know they have a retro kit have shown the after pictures to the boss. He’s not feeling it. He’s not a fan. Says it makes it look goofy.
think we need to get together and see if we can get some small shop or china, (they like copying stuff) to start making them again.
I think that road has pretty much been traveled... Avon has destroyed the molds, none of us knows nobody with enough money to order the amount of tires needed to be ordered to justify the cost....
