Are these wheel bearings?

I'm a bit surprised that the motorcycle shop does not have the simple tool to remove the sealed wheel bearings.

Shops do what makes the most $$....time usually. Tool on Amazon is under $40 and will last a lifetime.

Well sometimes no bearing puller in the world will work….especially when the guts of the bearing itself let go and leave just the outer race stuck. It can be a real pain in the ass to get that out. Hopefully your shop won’t damage the rim in the process. Good luck!
