Since you have the air cleaner off, look in the carb and twist the throttle to see if the accelerator pump is squirting fuel. If it is, that should deliver enough fuel to get the engine to fire.

I just Checked they there are three separate jets of fuel being sprayed into the carb when I turn the throttle 1 left 1 right 1 center

Im just aggravated with the mechanic...1500 to do what...hell i can jet the carb for 50.00 and that including the new jets...he didnt fix nothing and saying its the ehc...if its the ehc it either runs or it dies or maybe not start at all....but if its just running like shit then thats fuel air or spark...so when you call him he tells you there isnt nothing wrong with your jetting that he did it right and saying its the ehc....he is full of shit...i cant stand a lieing crook...

I agree with mleach....that plug is junk...go to autozone or wherever and get the right plugs....i have never been impressed with this over priced irdium plugs....i would put champion or ngk in it....plug gap should be around .40 best i remember....and if you can put the new ones in it with a wrench and not a spark plug socket..

Ok so Im hoping that this is the problem and it fires up waiting on the battery to recharge. it could have cracked from him over time of the bike sitting there after he put them in a tested it because of stress on the ceramic from over tightening . im praying for a win here LOL

Good News we have a winner . it cranked right up no more black smoke no more bogging down with the air filter off i put it on an it got a little sluggish so I will adjust it out. thank you for all your help . Thanks for suggesting to pull the plugs I honestly didn't think of those since they we brand new . Live and learn .

Good deal! Did you check if the auxiliary vent plug was removed? With the air cleaner off, the carb is able to breathe through the main vent. When you put the air cleaner back on, it might be blocking the main vent. That's why they made the auxiliary vent for aftermarket ac's. That might be where the sluggishness is coming from. Those spike ac's aren't great performers, but it definitely won't run right if the main vent is blocked and the plug isn't removed.

Do as Matt says to make sure all that is right...if it continues to act up a little after that then check the jets....start back at a .31 intermediate and a .76 main and see how it runs...im figuring you will end up with a .32 and a .78 to make it run exactly right but i cant say forsure cause that all will play with the cold weather and whatever exhaust you have on it

I pulled the plugs and I don't think they are fouled but very sooty . one was cracked so regardless I will change them . he wont ever touch it again . but posted the pics for reference to richness
I hope you're the one that broke that spark plug, because if it got broken when the "mechanic" was putting it in, you got screwed so bad you should be pregnant!! I hope you at least got a kiss while he was screwing ya!

Hey, you should take those plugs back to the mechanic and tell him to shove em up his ass!
It be more than them damn plugs up his ass for 1500.00...i have been pissed all day about this and im not lieing...i hate a damn lieing thief....anything over 250.00 for jetting a carb and new plugs is a complete rip off to me

My charge out rate that i work on bikes and golf carts is 80.00 an hour.
2 hours labor at most on jetting unless i find other problems with the carb =160.00
Jets themselves for 2 jets= 20.00
Plugs = 12.00
Total = 192.00
Cash is King...Total 160.00
