2004 big dog wont start

Keep the new sensor in place. You did [match] measure both when they were on the bench, yes? Do this... just a stab at the black box. You can still bench the leads without removing the sensor. No movement at the crank, same as if on the bench.
1. Pull ground off battery.
2. With key on, no matter who has watt, toggle everything on that bike. Brakes, switches, 4 times or more times [the better] at the key switch is the on and off. Why? It's a computer bike. It may have it's own learn relay inside? I asked the question and no one knows. So I'm after the saved RAM to be wiped out. Key fobbing is to drain the capacitors, right? This is where I assume it starts at the last good known value saved in the capacitor... but cranking with an out of range sensor?
So I want the bike to start at ROM. Or 0000. All zeros in binary speak. It's like a new unit. Like wiping the hard drive back to a new tower out of the factory box.

From the picture it looks to me that the 3 thinner wires ( green,red, black) going to the jst connector are good. They probably go to the cam sensor. The yellow wire goes to the Coil repair it . The orange wire looks good probably from EHC to power the ign module. The black wire next to the orange wire needs to be repaired and is probably the ground back at the EHC. Lastly the green wire looks like the other end may be under the 2 larger wires one red and one black. Reconnect the two green ends.
Attached is the wire diagram you asked for. Not very legible which is why I gave you a lot of guesses as to there functions. Hopefully this will be helpful.

I saw on a different thread you were wondering if you could bypass the EHC controller. You probably could if you installed a switch to provide power to the Ignition Module. The rest of the wires need to remain connected in order for the system to function.
You say the red light is on so there should be no reason to do such a bypass. The fact that it's not flashing means it's not getting the signal from the cam sensor. Since you have a new sensor with wires installed it's possible you miss-wired it at the Ignition module or the wires that were frayed are not repaired properly. Considering the looks of those wires I would not be surprised that the module itself is fried.
First things first, get a meter and ohm out each wire to see if you have continuity. If all the wires test good then you can try to isolate which component is failing. The diagram I gave you in the previous post is pretty poor so you may have to ask around for someone with a clear one so you can see whats going on.
Also try to keep all related questions to the same thread otherwise it gets real confusing as to what you may be looking for. Good Luck
