I always thought the back tire would be weak link in my build but came to the realization the DSSC transmission will not hold the torque under the onslaught of acceleration and implodes before the rear tire becomes the weak link. I see it is a 117ci custom and my thoughts are only if you have a DSSC transmission in it. If it is a Big Dog I am sure you will find this out soon.If you ride 2 up at anytime the extra weight compounds this issue.
Sounds like a awesome build and I know personally you are going to love it but listen to the little voice in your head when you are going down the road about 25 miles an hour and decide to blow the tire up in smoke which it will do on command to show off.....
Its going to say, don't do it, you going to blow the transmission fool... and it will probably be right...
I broke one belt but it held up nicely for the most part. Me and Baker became good friends. Put some 4 degree performance dogs in your transmission to help hold it in gear which Baker has in a bin.
Avoid blasting in 3rd gear so it seems all the trouble begins there. Never had a issue in 1st or 2nd....
Good luck and enjoy it.. I like the way you think...
