10 year Reunion

Looking forward to retirement
I like Wichita or Strokers idea. Although KS might have better riding. Dallas while we can put a ride together the scenary isn't great. Unless your talking about the women!
That would be a major factor with Stroker's. Riding ! Hot Springs rally has great riding but the rally is also going on. Riding would be great plus they always have a great band.

Just got caught up on this thread and I'm in agreement with Wichita for it's location and BDM history.

I'll touch base with Matt Moore and get his input.

How's the riding in that area??? I'd love to some some real scenic group rides.

One thought I had pop into my head... we could do a Hot Rod Power Tour style meeting and do some scenic group rides to different towns. Then again, if people trailer in, that wouldn't work very well.

Anyway, let's plan for Wichita and go from there, its pretty much the center of the country. I'll be home next week and can work on this some more.

Lastly, ANYONE with experience planning large events, and want to help, please step forward. I used to be the events coordinator for a Jeep club I belonged to, but we were tiny compared to our group here.

I'll create a new section for this event so we can keep the conversation in one place.

Hell, I'm hoping I'll be off for this, whenever it happens. Offshore life can be unpredictable. I'm going to have to earn some favors (get your minds out of the gutter).

Just saw this thread. If Wichita is the place, the Flint Hills will be a nice ride. Kansas ain't known for its twisty's, roads that is.... I'll check with our hotel down by the river and see what I can find out about group lodging. Keep ya posted. BTW, I also have a graphic artist on standby. She can do shirts, hats, patches....whatevr we need. The origanal factory has been purchased too. Not sure if the sign will be around in 2yrs?

Sounds Terrific! :)

I know a few SoCal Big Dog owner/riders that may want to go
We could certainly group ride in or trailer our bikes in.

One question for Tim or the organizers:
We have a few 'Big Bear Chopper' , 'Thunder Mountain Harley Chopper' and 'Harley custom Bagger' friends that may want to attend as well and bring their bikes (about 2~5). The 'Iron Horse' guy probably will not go but might send his drone to video it. :D

Question: So is this open to "other bikes" and "non-riders" ? ( I assume passengers, girlfriends, domestic partners, etc... are ok to attend and bring their "non-Big Dog bikes"? ) _______ ?

Great idea, we will be there regardless of time and place but Wichita in the early fall would probably be the best idea. Pending on season we will trailer, RV, or ride up. Once the time and place is posted I will do my part to arrange a power tour if at all possible.

I say ABSOLUTELY!

We have members that maybe are riding something else these days and they are more then welcome to attend. And if you have friends that want to come along too, the more, the merrier.

Spring or Fall sounds good, Kansas can get damn HOT in the Summer.

Been watching this thread. I think Wichita is the best all around choice because of the Big Dog history there. It is also fairly centrally located (geographically speaking). I mean, you COULD do it here in Pensacola, but that would ruin my opportunity for a good long ride to Wichita to have a cold beer with some of you. This could become an annual event!! Count me in!!
