06 pittbull electrical malfunction

Hit the horn button on my 06 pittbull and the engine died, lost all lightning, wouldn’t do anything. Got it back home on a trailer, pulled the battery out and everything looked good. Hook the battery back up and now I have a neutral light turn signals and oil warning lights even if the key is off. It will turn over but will not start. Any help?

Start with the basics. Have the battery checked or replace the battery. Especially if it's old. A low charged battery can cause all kinds of headaches.

Forgot to mention that when I pulled the seat off I noticed the horn had fallen off it’s mount and was just hanging loose. I thought maybe it could’ve possibly shorted against the metal bracket and caused the problem. I know I said everything looked good when I took the battery out and it did as far as clean dry except for the horn

That’s really odd, who uses their horn ??
Seriously I would start with the left pcb switch and work my way back, sounds like something isn’t grounded? I would check the connection from the harness to the pcb and maybe it’s loose inside the control or a pin is not seated in the jst connection. Just a stab for where to start. Also check the ground wire on the battery , make sure it’s tight and grounded to the frame

Lol. I don’t know who would ever use the horn but I have mine up for sale and was just making sure everything on it worked

Hopefully it didn’t hit your ignition switch , do you have the breaker switch ? You may want to reset it ?

If I have it I wouldn’t know where it’s at. I hate to sound ignorant but this is the first bigdog I’ve ever been on.

I meant to say find your breaker switch and reset the breaker , you may have tripped it when the horn came loose and grounded it out causing the relay to trip

Well there again I hate to sound ignorant but I haven’t seen any breaker switch. I have had the module out to make sure everything was clean and dry and don’t see any switch. Any hints on where to look

So if the breaker had tripped you think I would still be getting lights and the engine turning over like it is
Start by making sure you have a good ground , check to make sure and check the connection to the horn after it came loose. I would still check the breaker it is designed to trip iot save the ehc from taking an electrical hit

So if have the fuse I don't think you would have a breaker. I think the fuse was a upgrade or a recall at one time. Did you check the battery? How old is it?

Checked that. Fuse is good
The breaker is usually in the battery Trey , the wire from the v/r is hooked to it and the red wire to the battery There is a button that is used to reset the breaker.
I know the pic is hard to see but this is on my 04 it right in front of the esc

2016 but has not been on a tender. I’m in Kentucky on the bike I got started once since last summer. I had to put it on the charger for a while before it would crank it over
