Never seen anything like this ?
I was thinking that because the horn came loose it grounded the bike out and caused the breaker to trip or fuse to blow.

I am almost wondering if it may have hit the ignition plate , not sure where they are installed on the 06’s on my 04 it’s rigjt above the horn , mounted to the frame

My 04 Chopper had the relay. Don't know about the 08. Can't remember.

Maybe he can take a picture of where the horn is? Still like to know how old the battery is? Or if it was load tested.

Hit the horn button on my 06 pittbull and the engine died, lost all lightning, wouldn’t do anything. Got it back home on a trailer, pulled the battery out and everything looked good. Hook the battery back up and now I have a neutral light turn signals and oil warning lights even if the key is off. It will turn over but will not start. Any help?

Does your bike have the thunder heart ignition with the red led light ? Does the light come on when the key is turned on ?

I didn’t see this mentioned but I would have disconnected and/or cut the wires to, and insulated the horn wires first to see if everything else works again. It could just be a malfunctioning horn.

I have a PDM kit installed on my 06 k9 and if you hit the horn while it is running it will kill the bike. Bigdog sent me a relay kit that was supposed to solve the problem. I've never installed the relay, still sitting in the envelope it came in. But with mine the bike would restart. It's easy enough to look and see if he has the PDM installed, if he does...check the fuse first.

It will if you have a PDM kit. It was ONE of the flaws when the PDM came out, BDM sent out a relay to solve the problem

I don't know if this is still an on going problem, I had the same thing happen on my '07 Mastiff. Hit horn button and engine died, switch on and off and got it home, did some checking and it turned out to be the EHC. Replaced with DOC's unit, never had an electrical problem since.
