What part is this?

Here's a few more pics. Also my bike has some dead one customs wiring upgrades and some upgrades done to the 117, I dont know if that would have anything to do with this stuff not fitting.
I'm not sure what is going on there. I don't know why it would be any different from any other mastiff. I guess just go to the hardware store and get a longer bolt. Maybe 2 1/2" or 3".

Just gonna say I believe that is for a ridgeback. They dead head right into the mount. No decorative cap on the other end. Just get a longer bolt like Matt suggested.

Thanks guys. I'll look for a longer bolt.

If I cant find one of the same thread I can just use a different thread and put a regular nut and lock washer on the end, instead of the spike. Should serve the same purpose.

I just read on the web site HDM(bigdogpartskingpin.com) For the Spike Engine Mount Nut in the DESCRIPTION, Should fit all 04+ with a little trial and error on Bolt sizes! Get Creative, It's a custom! Well there you have it the 1 3/4 " must have been a guideline only in the service manual.

:old2: Should have no problem matching the threads & adding some length. True Value or Ace Hardware should have what you need

Ok got another bolt today, still couldn't get one as long as I hoped but this was long enough to attach?

Should this work fine?
It does not look like it engaged the nylon well on that nut -- I would look for a longer bolt.
Try Boltdepot.com or fastenal.com or McMasterrCarr.com

My spike engine mount is loose and spins on my 07 Chopper. I have some padded pliers I have used on the spike nut itself and an allen wrench on the opposite side but I cannot get it to tighten or loosen. Any ideas?
