How thick is the engine mount? The camel toe on the coil cover isn't very thick. The mount would have to be 1 1/2" thick for the bolt to not stick out the other side.Yes it is. 1 3/4"

I'm not sure what is going on there. I don't know why it would be any different from any other mastiff. I guess just go to the hardware store and get a longer bolt. Maybe 2 1/2" or 3".Here's a few more pics. Also my bike has some dead one customs wiring upgrades and some upgrades done to the 117, I dont know if that would have anything to do with this stuff not fitting.
Thanks guys. I'll look for a longer bolt.
If I cant find one of the same thread I can just use a different thread and put a regular nut and lock washer on the end, instead of the spike. Should serve the same purpose.
Should have no problem matching the threads & adding some length. True Value or Ace Hardware should have what you needI would imagine that will work. You couldn't use the stock acorn nut?Ok got another bolt today, still couldn't get one as long as I hoped but this was long enough to attach?
Should this work fine?
The nut you started this thread with?Nah I didn't have an acorn nut, but that nut came in the kit I got from bigdogpartskingpin
Ah OK, if you did, I would suggest using the spike if it has the same threads as the bolt. It appears that the 2 dowel pins go into the engine mount to keep it from coming loose.Lol yeah the spike nut, sorry. Yeah I dont think I had room for it.
It does not look like it engaged the nylon well on that nut -- I would look for a longer bolt.Ok got another bolt today, still couldn't get one as long as I hoped but this was long enough to attach?
